To kick off our 2025 litter-picking season, we teamed up with our charity partner ProCook. A team of 10 dedicated volunteers , including ProCook CEO Lee Tappenden, came together for a lunchtime litter pick at Indurent Park in Gloucester. Over the course of just one hour, we collected an impressive 10.32 kg of litter, ranging from everyday items like plastic wrapping and cardboard to unexpected finds such as a five pound note and a draft excluder.

Since launching these regular lunchtime litter picks in March 2023, we’ve now removed a total of 159.45kg of litter from Indurent Park. It’s incredible to see how small, consistent efforts add up to make a big difference. Keeping the environment around our workplace clean is something we’re passionate about, and we’re grateful for everyone who joins us in this mission.

A huge thank you to all our volunteers who took time out of their day to get involved! Every piece of litter collected helps protect local wildlife, prevent pollution, and create a cleaner, greener space for everyone to enjoy.

We’ll be back soon for another clean-up, and we’d love to see even more people join in. If you’re interested in organising a litter pick with your team, don’t hesitate to get in touch at hello@lifesabeach.org. Let’s work together to make a lasting impact!
