Our charity partner ProCook teamed up with us for another lunchtime litter pick.
Despite the heatwave, 9 volunteers gave up their lunch break to collect litter from the area around our office. We host our lunchtime litter picks throughout the year; our way of ensuring where we work is free from pollution.
We founds lots of plastic wrapping and cardboard, but also there were some more unusual items like a car tyre and a road sign buried in a ditch. Since March 2024 we have been holding lunchtime litter picks in Indurent Park, picking up a total of 121.39 of kilos so far!
Over the space of an hour we collected up 6 bags of litter weighing in at 11.56 kilos! ProCook staff this year have collected up 69.21 kilos of litter with us, an impressive feat.
